Saturday, May 12, 1888 Cool & blustering, but more sunshine than for sometime. All as well with our folks, Geo- didn't get away in night as had spoken of doing, but off on "8:50 train" which was late, & not leaving here till last A.M. quite sure is some trouble on R- Roads & not as many trains thro' as usual, I saw no "passenger" this eve. Rosa as busy of course, out awhile after tea. Much same self, spending day as usual with some extra sweeping &c. Sunday 13 Cooler, but less wind & pleasant. Geo- didn't return last night, & find R- didn't expect him. Others as well, & up in good season, at s-school as usual P.M. & out for walk last P.M. & to see circus passing thro' & on to Ferry. As well self, & spending day at rest as usual. Tho' cool in chamber trying to appreciate pleasant view can have there from, & with reading, scribbleing some A.M. not taking meals with others but before
