Monday, May 14, 1888 Mild & most pleasant this month. George came sometime in night, having but little sleep & troubled with "sick headache" this P.M. but at work as usual. Others as well & Clyde at school again this P.M. Remainder of circus with elephants & other animals off on ferry A.M. R- with children out to see them. Mrs Post & Boys here in eve. As well self, & at "repairing" & odd jobs spent about an hour in d-room eve. Tuesday 15 Cooler sprinkle or two in A.M. cloudy all day till sun came out last P.M. Others as well think, but Geo- still troubled with "headache" but at work as usual, Clyde at school, Rosa- had callers, think Mrs Post & Boys here in eve. Very few boats passing today. After good nights rest quite as well self, & with usual chores & some "repairing" of course, trying to enjoy pleasant view of river & surroundings from my chamber, but disappointed in seeing Ellery this eve as tho't
