Saving...
Sunday, July 29, 1888 As warm certain, Mercury 97 degrees, at mid-day. Pleasant A.M. with calm shower P.M. As well with our folks, Ellery at service A.M. Charlotte with "little ones" at s-school as usual, all spending rest of day at home. After good nights rest tho't self quite as well & girls visited with me good part A.M. but after trying to study into some things, & reading had pain in front head P.M. & eve. Monday 30 About as warm & pleasant till had quite a little gale with some rain about noon, & sprinkle or two later. Much same with our folks, & at usual duties, Charlotte having extra of some washing to occupy time. Better again this morn self, but no extra labor, & taking it easy with usual chores, knitting more of sock commc'd Saturday, but not just right, & Ch- thinking it larger than she wanted, I raveled it out again.
