Saving...
Saturday, Sept. 1, 1888 still cooler, with slight signs of frost in some valley's, but quite pleasant. Much same with Ellery, perhaps taking more time for chores & care for chickens this morning than sometimes. We took meals same, but Mr Wedgwood was off for Rossville P.M. Mrs W- had friend from Lansing (Mrs Kendal) arrive P.M. with whom we took supper. Tho't self better, but had kind of "sick spell" A.M. but not to trouble others. Sunday 2 Warmer again, & very pleasant. About as usual with Ellery. Tho' of course taking more rest this morn, but he attended service A.M. & at s-school as usual. We took dinner with Mrs Wedgwood, & her friend who left for home in P.M. El- spent P.M. & eve mostly, at home, where we took "lunch" as usual. After good nights rest tho's self feeling better, but did realize "pressure to head" by spells with more of "nervousness" than once
