Saving...
Monday, Sept. 17, 1888 Cooler, with something of mist in air in morn, as was with some rain thro' most of day, but Mercury only 54°. All as well with others, & Clara about house much same, but not outside yet. "Usual duties" kept others busy as ever, but guess no extra tho' it be first day of County Fair. As well self, & with "usual chores" occupied much as usual, tho' more of girls company than when Clara is able to be out more. Tuesday 18 About as cool morn- & cloudy A.M. some sunshine P.M. & Mer- 62°. About same with our folks & Clara's foot doing well, & tho' not able to wear shoe, out to play in yard some with Karrie. Others ossupied much as usual, not being at Fair except El- to carry "knitted lace" Tidy & Breakfast shawl" for me, which he entered last eve. About as usual self, somewhat entertained by more life on street & passing to & from "Fair Grounds".
