Monday, Oct 1, 1888 Cooler again, only 56° P.M. pleasant but very windy. About same with our folks think, & guess spending day much as usual. Tho' know Charlott had some extra work with fruit, making jelly of "High Bush Cranberries" This A.M. certain. Mrs Dr Kellog called on us P.M. Cold troubling me some less but no "extra strength" still, but with regular routine passing day much same. Tuesday 2 Quite frosty, & cooler P.M. with as much breeze, tho pleasant. Others as well but Charlotte up most of night with pain in teeth, & this A.M. down at Dentist having couple extracted & at home rest of day at usual duties. Children at grandpa's A.M. & about as usual. Quite as well self & spending A.M. much as usual, but most of P.M. & taking tea with Mrs Althea Robbins, walking down with Mrs Brayton & Wedgwood, El- calling for me after tea.
