Wednesday, Nov. 28, 1888 Cooler, Mercury only 35° & cloudy all day. All moving on much same with our folks, but Charlotte extra busy with cooking & preparations for tomorrow. little girls down to carry dinner to Papa at store, with other errands. About as usual self except for extra nervousness P.M. spending day much same, & over at Mrs Braytons for water P.M. & to rest awhile. Thursday 29 About same temperature, & weather much same, with symtoms of snow last P.M. Union services at M.E. church A.M. which El- attended & with Mr & Mrs Wedgwood here to take dinner soon after 12 o.c. Mrs W- with Ch- & children part P.M. All seeming usual health. As well self, enjoying good "chicken pie" with others of course, spending most of time in chamber as usual.
