Memoranda Jan 18th /89 Friday - Coldest this winter, tho' only 3° below zero in morn, & 13°+ P.M. & quite pleasant & still. Our folks well as usual about & guess spending day much same, tho' El- was home to dinner, but think took supper at C.P. church. Clara & Karrie out some for play today. Hardly as well self & taking it extra easy, so cool in chamber spent part both A.M. & eve down in kitchen, took no supper. Jan 19th /89 Saturday - Mercury 12°+ this morn & 25° P.M. not as pleasant, with snow siftings P.M. Much same with our folks & with usual duties busy as ever. Ellery home for three means again. Ch- not out at all & think no one in. After good nights rest that self rather better, & with usual chores did some more "sweeping". Trying to think of others cares & responsibility, as well as comborts & advantages.
