Jan 5th/89 Saturday Rather pleasant, & mild. Mer 32°, in morn, but only 38° P.M. Much same with our folks, & of course quite as busy spending day much as usual. little girls being out some. Tho had good nights rest still rather weak & poorly self. doing nothing extra & reading more than usual. Winnie May here in P.M. to bring "Canary Bird" her mother sent one, & which is much like old bird, tho some smaller & young.
