Friday January 3. Bright & cold still, Mer about 20°- in morning, & not reaching zero at all, spent the day with "Sister Rose", seems to things over home as usual. Rose & Geo- spent first of eve at choir meeting, & Lizzie Spaulding with me. Find I have another bad cold coming on, been sneezing most of the day. Saturday Januray 4 Weather remains same Mer 18°- at sunrise, & just reaching zero in P.M. Feeling miserable from cold in head, did little as possible over home, & of course nothing else but sneeze & use my handkerchief, resting all I could.
