January 13 Monday Another mild day & not quite as windy as yesterday, but more cloudy. Mer 12°+ at sunrise & rose to 26°+ again. We had turkey for dinner, so Geo & Rose came in to help us, she stopping awhile in PM. I kept busy at little jobs most of time, but resting last of PM. Leona & I spent eve at home as usual. Union meetings commence this evening. January 14 Birght & clear & cooler Mer but little above zero in morning & only 18°+ in PM. Not feeling very well self, I rested & took it easy as possible, all rest- about as usual. Rose is on her way to spend rest PM & eve at Mrs. [Mass?] Leona & I "took coffee" alone. Ellery at donations supper at B church where I should have been if feeling better.
