January 27 Monday Rose & Geo being so late for meeting stopped thro' eve with me. Tho' the sun hasn't shone out much, snow thawing all day, Mer 32°+ at 8 o,c, 39°+ at noon & 34°+ at sunset, all well as usual, & Ellery stopped in morning to clean out stove pipe from S_ roOm, with Leona to help. After which we spent rest AM cleaning up, taking pictures & all out of S_ room & when all was put to right I was quite tired, Leona's brother here most of PM January 28 Much such a day as yesterday, only that has more sunshine in PM tho mer only 24°+ at 8 o,c, but rose to 38°+ & stood at 30°+ at sunset. Leon washed two more woolen sheets this AM, not having other house work to do &out awhile in PM & in eve. I spent day as usual, little jobs keeping me busy, sitting most of PM at church with Rose and Geo in eve
