February 2 Sunday Pleasant this AM & not as cold, [tho?] strong wind, 2 [am?] 13° + al-80c & rose to 36 during day, clouded up in PM & saw few flakes of snow in air before dark. I attend service at Mr E church going with Rose & [name?]. E- at B_ church in AM I commenced letter to Charlotte in PM & finished in eve. [Illegible...] of us out to church in eve but [attend?] was there. February 3 Very pleasant & mild. [Illegible] 17+ at sunrise, rose to 36° + & stood 32 at sunset. I spent the day at work at little jobs here & there, over to see Rose few minutes in AM & she in here of errand. I did some chairing & added some [illegible] to letter to Charlotte,
