Lena & I alone in eve, I wrote Char- Mer 33+ at 8 o,c, A.M. 42 all March 5, Wednesday Unpleasant, cloudy all day with fine rain or mist by spells all P.M. Lizzie stayed with me again last night, spent eve as evening before, playing game "Noted people & places" Ellery in before 9 o,c, all well & up in good season this morn-, too, so Lizzie left in good season for school, after doing up chores I was over to see Rose awhile, Lena, came about 11 o,c, so I had to let Geo & Rose know of it after dinner, spent P.M. mending March 6 Beautiful day, Mer above freezing at sunrise & rose to 44+ 2 o,c, 48+ 4 o,c, P.M. Lena at washing most of A.M. so I had some chores to do in kitchen, over to Roseanna's "few minutes", & afterward added some more to letter I wrote Charlotte last eve, spent P.M. at little jobs repairing Ellery at B- M & to supper, too muddy for me to go. Lena out in eve, so I went over to (illegible) E- coming (illegible)
