March 13 Thursday Clouds this morn, but little wind & Mer 30+ at 7 o,c, & only 38+ at noon & only rose to 40+ & down to 30+ again when snow commenced to fall about 5 o,c, growing quite blustering so Rose & I didn't go to M- E- Nite Society. Estelle in awhile just before snow fell. Ellery off to one of Co. E select parties". Lena wanted to go to "look on" awhile. Tho' very stormy & windy, but spent eve at Geo-'s & Lena not getting home till 11 o,c, March 14 Clear & bright this morn but Oh! so cold. Mer only 1+ at 7 o,c, & only 12+ at noon, 16+ at 2 o,c, cloudy part of day & windy. I spent the day much as usual, resting part of time (not feeling any extra strength) & doing some jobs repairing. Spent the day & eve at home. Lena also (?), she ran out an hour or so in eve, & Ellery spent eve at home after drill.
