April 4 Friday Another pleasant day & not as cold or windy. Mer 22°+ at 7 o.c. AM & rose to 40 in PM Not being much to do about house Lena took time to go & sit for "photo" in AM, her Brother & sister both here in PM. I was in to see Rose - in morn - After dinner Ellery took down & cleaned out stove pipe in S-room, making us extra work. Mrs. L.W. Henley called, Lizzie went down to store with me. April 5 Still pleasant & mild, Mer 30° at 7 o.c. AM & rose to 50°+ PM Of course didn't have the usual cleaning up to do, the sitting room having had that, after pipe was put up again yesterday PM but some mending &c with chores kept me busy most of AM no on in through the day. Lena down town to sit for photo again, in PM & I went over to sit with Rose. E & Lena out all eve. & I over to
