Saving...
Mar 12 Monday Much such a day as yesterday, looking some like rain part of time, but none fell, Mer 85°+ at noon, & 75°+ at 7 o,c, eve. Being washing day I had little to do in kitchen, also did job repairing in A.M. leaving chamber - work till P.M. at dinner time Ellery partialy decided to start on P.M. train for Marshall-Town, which expect he did not being here to tea or in eve, I was in to see Rose in P.M. May 13 Weather remains about same, tho' clouds grew very dark towards eve, no rain fell, of course it seems quite lonely, without having Ellery here even at meal time. I started out with Rose this A.M., to sit for my "photo" -, gone but an hour or so. Lena out of errand tho' ironing most of A.M., spent P.M. at home, Lizzie Spaulding spent eve, & is to stay over night with me.
