expect E- is at church this eve, but I was feeling too lazy May 18 Sunday Weather about same, cloudy & sunshining alternately. Mer 84°+ in P.M. Of course I had more to do about house than usual, on Sundays, but Estelle was with me till the middle P.M. helping in what little I had to do. Neither of us going out to church, tho' Ellery attended Baptist as usual. Lena made her appearance just as E- & I were at supper. May 19 Much such a day as yesterday till along in P.M. when it commenced to rain, quite hard, (for this season) for short time, then fell lightly most of P.M. being much cooler this eve. George & Rose both about sick with colds, but were over here in eve & Ellery in early, so we played "Avelude" rest of evening. Feeling weak & tired self so took it easy.
