Saving...
May 28 Wednesday Woke to find it still raining quite hard this morning after showers during the night, all moving along as usual with us, Lena ironing & doing some baking. I took awhile in A.M. to finish letter to Charlotte commenced Sunday, spent rest of time at little jobs repairing &c, & getting them out of sight once more. Not much rain last of A.M. & cleared away in P.M. I was over to see Rose awhile & they both here awhile in eve. E- out late. May 29 Pleasant, only that wind blew very hard, still very warm & sultry Mer above 80°+ last of A.M. & nearly all P.M. I didn't try to accomplish much feeling so "wilted". In at Mrs. Howes of errand, & over to Rose's also in A.M. in P.M. tried to do little repairing but took a nap & rested most of time. Anna here with Lena & both out in eve. I spent most of it with Rose & George.
