June 1 Sunday quite cool this morning, & Mer only rising to 60+ during the day. Tho' it is summer now. I had tho't to go to church, but before it was time to prepare I had slight spell", & while getting water for self, fainted & lay down on the floor when Anna came in to room. Ellery being about sick with cold neither of us out to church at all. I spent couple hours in P.M. finishing letter to Aunt A- commenced May 4th June 2 Pleasant, & not quite as cool, tho Mer only reached about 70+. Anna up in good season & set about washing, & it being small had all out of way & cleaned up in A.M. Of course I had chores to do in kitchen in A.M. & busy at "odd jobs" (as usual) rest of time, finished covering boxes, I was in at Geo-'s after tea, Mrs Howe called here & with (?) all day. There meanwhile on errand, (?)
