Mer 80°+ at noon down to 74°+ after shower, & up to 84 after over June 9 Monday. Sunshine & cloudy by spells. Feeling better today self, Tho' not very strong yet, but did up work after breakfast & helped about dinner. Anna doing most of washing in AM took in part of clothes when shower came up about noon & put them out after had cleared up in PM, I spent an hour or more in with May Stewart this PM. Anna & I at home this eve, clouded up this eve with thunder & lightening, but no rain here yet, 10 o,c, eve June 10 Pleasant again, & we had no rain here, tho' know there were hard heavy showers about us & heard great storm in Dubuque. Very warm, Mer reaching 85°+ in P.M. I was in to see Rose in A.M., & about 4 o,c, P.M. we started to visit Mrs. Pratt once more, E- & Geo there to tea also, (Lizzie S- came when Estelle came from "Aunt-Anne's" All spent eve except Ellery & enjoyed new game, Mr. Pratt home now.
