July 7 Monday Unpleasant hard shower in morning, & some rain falling during A.M. so couldn't work at currants, till last of P.M. when Anna picked a number of qts. I kept busy at little jobs here & there, repairing &c, over to Rose's once or twice. They received word of her uncle's death, & was over here in P.M. to see about arranging things so as to attend the funeral of her uncle at Frankville, tomorrow. July 8 Fortunately pleasant, Geo- & Rose started in good season this A.M. I was over to see about Mr R-s dinner &c, Anna heled me look over currants for I can 4 qts. After resting awhile in P.M. I started out for Mrs. Pratt's (carrying couple qts currants) where spent rest of P.M. & Estelle came down town after tea with me shower came up so she stopped over night. Anna over to stay with Lena to nite.
