Saving...
Friday August 8 Pleasant, quite cool this morning & only comfortably warm during the day, having nothing to do I took it easy, helping Estelle make some fringe for (Tidy?), & at work on own crochet work. Estelle & I spent last of P.M. & the evening at Mr. Wedgewoods with number of others, going round to call on Rose, after going home for me to prepare, & back here to spend the night again. Saturday August 9 A very pleasant day, being warmer again, all about as usual here at Mrs Pratt's tho' hope her eyes are in a way to be much better. I can't find any way in which I can be of much help & spend most of time on worsted crotchet edge. Estelle walked with me to Mrs Goodkoontz's (in AM) to ask her to send us butter first of next week, spent (?) (?) Wedgewood girls being here, & Ellery here to tea.
