Saving...
Tuesday October 7 Another warm & very windy day, Mer- rising above 80°+. I kept busy most of A.M. at little jobs, carried rest of cans of fruit down cellar, Lena at ironing & made couple apple pies (I cut the apples) I was in to see Mrs Howe little while in A.M. find her able to be about house again, spent couple hours with Maz S_ in P.M. & over to see Rose & Baby awhile before tea, spent eve at mending. October 8 Looking likely to rain in morn but cleared up & Mer rose to 82°+ but not seeming as sultry as past two days, gave up cleaning up & airing beds in b-chamber. Lena at work for her self some both A.M. & P.M. & down town part of P.M. I went in to sit with Rose & baby awhile in A.M. but her sister (Mrs C_) came. Mrs Howe out & in here in P.M. Charlotte in awhile also, I did some repairing as usual.
