spending day at Rose's Friday November 28 Still cloudy, ground somewhat shite with snow, but sun shone out by spells in A.M. quite windy & cloded up again in P.M. Mer 31°+ at noon, growing cold this P.M. Lena doing small washing, not getting about it very early, didn't get it out of way till P.M. I did up work in A.M. & got dinner, in P.M. was in to see Mrs Howe little while, & in to see Baby while Lena was down town, Estelle, November 29 Bright once more, tho' colder Mer- only 10°+ at sun rise, & 18°+ at noon, but standing 22° most of P.M. Not doing much cooking, Lena did sweeping of d-room, (for which I had to prepare) & putting to rights, with other odd jobs kept me busy all A.M. Lena ironing in P.M. & down town awhile, I was over to see Rose & Clyde awhile, Hugh McCabe's wife in awhile. Lena at home at eve & Ellery home early.
