Saving...
I stayed at home working on canvas Tidy Monday December 8 Another pleasant day, & not as cool, Mer 26°+ at noon, rose to 28°+ in P.M. Soon as could after breakfast I was in to see Mrs Howe about going down town , she having no help now - except her old help "Katie" visiting there - we didn't get started till 11 o,c, so I didn't accomplish much. Took my muff down to send off again to be made right. Lena off couple hours in P.M. I spent most of that time in with Rose, Lena also out most of eve December 9 Unpleasant, more show fell last night, but air filled with fog or mist all day, some rain falling first of eve.
