presents distributed from "Boat" at C.P. church Wednesday December 24 Cloudy most of day, with slight fall of snow in A.M. Mer 1°_ at sunrise, same at noon, & 7°_ at 5 o,c, P.M. All about as usual with us. Lena finishing up ironing & at work for self some. I was in at Mrs Howes of errand in P.M. & while we were at supper (Befsie?) came in with presents for Ellery & me, from their Christmas tree", Ellery & I went in to take present of vases to Mrs H_ on way to see December 25 Clear & bright - "Christmas". but Mer 30°_ at sun-rise, & 16°_ at noon but only 8°_ at 5 o,c, P.M. Not up extra early, but each found a gift. E_ only one, being autograph album from Rose & self. I found pair of vases from each Rose & Ellery, & pin cushion, besides comb case from Mr Pratt. We all took dinner with Rose & George, I spent part P.M. there & part home. Lena off on a "drive", & to dance at night as was Ellery also
