Keosauqua Iowa March 3/58 Mr. J. B. Weaver As your letter does not require an answer I would not think of writing if it was not necessary for me to make some explanation, of a part of my former letter. The remark I made with refference to having all my private affairs made public was caused by my hearing so many things which you should have said about me. Of course they were nothing wrong, yet it would have been better to have left them unsaid. Yet I do not say you really did say all I heard you did but thought if you did I would warn you for the future.
