- 5 that I don't react. It is that I have learned to control my reactions … and done so for so long that it is now second nature with me. Don't think that I don't give way once in a while. I get angry plenty angry, and cuss generously. I flare up. But not for long. I control it somewhat. I don't often "beat myself" out over something which I cannot control or remedy. There is no point to it, it's childish. Likewise I am nearly always open to compromise for we are all happier in the long run if we do meet halfway. As I have said before, you must not read into my placidity or contentment or willingness to compromise as being disinterest or dislike for it is not. I am much the same
