Feb. no by golly it's the 25th [943] Dearest: I'll just snatch another moment while the Flight Lieutenant is looking the other way. Naturally when I seize a minute its to write you. Sundays are our freest day. You'll usually get a long letter for Sunday. I am no poet; that is I don't command the English language well enough to put it through the poetic hoop. Still I do have an artist's soul which clamors for more expression than I can give it. Thoughts come to me - overwhelming moods - I'm going to put them onto paper as a sort of poetic prose. Perhaps you can make some sense or beauty out of them. I got your letter from Kansas City. You and Carl really did the town.
