-2 until 1946. He is certainly all wrong. I'll bet, unless we should suffer a surprising reverse in Africa, that the invasion of Europe will begin this summer…..around July on August, perhaps as late as September. That angle of the war may last through the winter but should be over by next summer ('44) at the latest. Japan won't take long after that. I probably won't see any fighting front action before Christmas at any rate ... perhaps even later. x -------- x Today is Easter Sunday. It would be wonderful to step out into the parade with you.
