Wednesday 7 April 1943 My dearest: Well, here is the picture. I guess maybe I should have worn my gas-mask, eh? But I can't deny it looks like me; it does seem as though a picture ought to flatter one just a little, doesn't it? Yes, I Know my grades:- Physics - 100 Aircraft Ident - 98 Math - 98 Radio - 8 words per min, send & receiving. (That's only fair) Ground Forces - 100 Air Forces - 98 Maps & Charts - 100 In these 9 weeks we have taken the equivalent of 1 semester of college which takes 19 weeks.
