Saving...
a short time and this job is too important to neglect the slightest detail for sight seeing. I can't tell you all the places I've been but we fly mainly south; - southwest northwest and southeast. Fort Worth, Dallas, Lubbock, McAllen, along the Gulf, Galveston, Houston, Gainesville, Sweet Water... mostly within Texas as you can see. Once to New Orleans. Really getting around. But I'd like most of all to get home to you. You know it was only by chance I didnt come to Cincinnati in 1938. If I had I'm sure I would have felt the same as I did only sooner. We'd probably have been married by '39 or '40. Had a home I'd not have gone to war. Queer how fate works. It put off but couldn't prevent our meeting. Dearest, I am pretty tired. 8 am to 9 pm is a long work day. Goodnight and love B.J.
