fectly. I do rather like Clyde for all his unlikeable qualities. We have gotten on well. I am glad that the situation is working out favorably to him. I do not like Crane; though I cannot say I dislike him either. But he has an insinuating, bitter pen . . . and uses it thoughtlessly. That Ralph was able to get to the convention was an excellent piece of luck. He must have a very under-standing wife. It made me wish more than ever that I could have been there.
