Sesta was at the desk. She went along. She had a report to write, so I went back out by myself (which I so much preferred) and a jewish soldier tried to "pick" me up. He said it was going to be a dreary day for him with nothing to do & too long to do it in. Off duty 'til tomorrow at four a.m. & knew no one in the city. So I smiled and sympathised and said I had to go in and left. Your gremlins didn't even have to nudge me. Time to go. I'll write more later.
