Home Jan.8th '72 Dear Pa & Ma: Your good letter and Emma's came last Friday. I wrote you last Sunday but will again today. Em's letter did us lots of good. We will answer it soon. Frank is gone to Cambria today through the deep snow. Poor fellow wish I could have gone for him. ["Bret"] acted so ugly this morning-tried his best to kick and bite him. I don't think he is vicious only mettlesome and full of spirit. I couldn't go out to talk to him and pet him as usual
