April was rather gloomy, DeMoines had a one hundred thousand dollar fire last Friday night. Burned from the brick near Dr Ward office to the next street. I did not know any thing of it till I saw the morning paper I sent the paper to you. Do you get them. Dr Ward & Rawsen lost all there medicines. It was the work of an incendiary. I have not sold Orias house yet.
