Otherwise the note may be brought against you or be collected the principle and interest. I am of the oppinion that this would be the best way to do under all the circumstances. It appears that Lyons property was all mixed up and although you might hold it without you will have to [illegible] with a [illegible] more than a [Millions?] of [illegible] BL Allen. I received no answer to my letter until long after the property was to have been sold and so I presumed you did not want to make such an arrangement or else you did not understand my letter. Please to write me if you think I had better buy it in for that amount. (although I don't know if that can be done) or let it go to sale. I thought it could be defended when I first saw it advertised and I spoke to Mr. Polk to look after it
