Saving...
besides small fruit &c. I want you to come out & see the farm I have bought and what you think of the country. I have been trying to select a building place - not that I shall be able to build soon, but that I want my orchard near & wanted to make some improvements - I was in hopes you would come before I set out my orchard for that of course regulates the building place. The worst objections I have to my farm is there are no springs and on it. I would give almost anything for such a spring as was on your farm north of Danville. I have not sold my property yet in DesMoines. I think I shall go up there soon and see about it. I am apponted a Delegate to the State & Congressional Conventions which meet in Des Moines the 6 of May. I think I shall go up then. I am told that Des Moines is still improving going right ahead. It will make a splendid city some day, yet I am not sorry I am here.
