1st of March. He says to send to you I accordingly endorse (?) for that amount. I have not sold any property in Desmoines, I wish I could & hope to do so soon. I have offers to sell or 40 of my land, but do not find a purchaser. People about here wont buy from me at present for they still think to buy cheaper some day. One thing I have determined is to have a house to live in come what it may & the cheapest way is to have the lumber sawed. If I am sell my property in DesM I can get along, but I have so many improvements to make. I hope Pa will come out in the Spring. Did Pa (?) a let from some man I sent him.
