Chariton Iowa Oct 6th 1872 My dear Father & Mother Frank received a letter from you yesterday in which you complained that we had not written to you lately. Since Frank has been here, he and Lizzie have written to you frequently, hence I have not written as often as I would otherwise. We are all enjoying good health. Frank & Lizzie are still with us, although Frank has gone today to fill his first appointments- His Circuit is just below us he will live at New York) nine (9) miles south of us
