Yesterday we put our carpets down in our house in town and tomorrow shall move in if nothing happens. Charlie Ward will move into our house and John Barnett who lives in the log cabin will move where Charlie lives. Since I have sold to Fletcher I have but a small farm left of tilable land, and have bought 240 acres of nice land 1 1/2 miles south of the Court House, Chariton - for 16$ per acre. Seph & wife spent one week with us going away last Monday, Fletcher is still here, but thinks of going to Indiana this week. When we get fixed in town we shall be glad
