Iowa January 31st 1852 Dear Brother I received your of the 15 ins and was disappointed to get a letter of inquirey when I was looking for an anser to one that I rote you about 3 months ago I requested you in that to buy a farm and I would move on to it. your first as to how we are a giting along we are a doing tolarable well we have had good health this winter and a plenty to liv on. yure 2ent question asto wheather whether whe are a coming back; I do not know what to say I would a grate deele rather live in Indiana than to live here but wheather I could do as well there or here is the question it has ben my calculation for som time to com back; next spring now as I said in my last letter that if you will buy a good farm in some good place whare I can send my children to scool and handy to meeting I will com and live on it and rent it from you and make it profitable to you as thare is not much chance of scooling them here and it as much as I can do for them I want to give them a chance to go to scool
