UNITED STATES EXPRESS COMPANY Saint Joseph Mo June 26 1861 Dear Father enclosed you will find $10.00 that I spoke of in my last as you might not of got it I will say I want you to pay Geo Wilson $4.00 that I owe him you can save the rest for me until I want it we will get our next pay the last of July then I will remit more I am in town for the first time today business is very dull here in fact nothing at all. I saw Mr. Lambright here he is keeps books for a large firm on clotheing I did not see Jerome he was at home he is expecting a situation in the P. O. Yours &c G. F. Hall
