and building log houses and fixing up generaly to stay the winter. I have not heard ainy thing about gowing up north to recruit. I think there will bee some considerable fighting east, west and south, before the 1st of Jan /63 we are now the 1st Brigade of Dodges Division, our Iowa Dodge who was Col. of the 4th Iowa Infty.
