Head-Quarters 2d Division, 16th Army Corps. Pulaski Tenn. Nov 12 /1863. Dear Father in my last letters dated at LaGrange and Iuka I stated that we would go east we are now south of Nashville and your letters should be directed by the way of Nashville or Chattanagu we may stay here a couple of weeks and may not but a fiew days this is an old town and has Several hundred inhabitants left yet we had a quite a pleasant trip. I am well. in my last I stated that you nead not send my Boots or uniform if you had not I had a letter from Lieut. Bronton dated Oct 28th Memphis and immediately wrote to him to send the things back to you again for they would not reach me if you have sent the Boots you had better send to the express office and have them sold or sent
