Saving...
Jan. 23, 1884. I am writing in bed again. I went to the rink Mon. eve and Charlie Patterson brought me home. Last night I went to the W. W. C... [Have?] an essay on Gail Hamilton Cam Patterson and Cora Dickens brought me home. I had just got the light blown out when Will Warner and [Philo?] Canfield came and seranaded me. It sounded very pretty. They sang a song about "flitting" I clapped and they sang a [fannell?]. I brought my new dress home today, it is lovely. If only Rad [Coover?] would come I would be in the seventh heaven. If he don't come I hope I will have another bid. I guess Hattie [illeg.] and I will give a "Leap year Dance" the 22nd, of next month.
