whose name I do not know. Jennie Bush and Essie Burtis room next door and we have fly "larks". One night, before Essie roomed there, Jennie and me went down and got some pickle and crackers at a little store on the first floor and then came back to our room and had one of the renowned (?) [spreads?] that Vasser girls are always having. We did not eat all the pickle up that night so the girls came over another night and had pickles again. Jenny in fishing them out spilled the vinegar all over her nightgown. After that there was nothing but vinegar left in the bottle so wishing to have them smell vinegar I uncorked the bottle and set it in the room, but they discovered it and so poured some of it under our door. Raving after them they shut the door after
