13 During these thirty days I visited the Navy yard at Philadelphia and many other places of interest in that city, also Norristown, Lebanon and on the 22nd of February attended a reception, parade and banquet, in Reading, in honor of Washington's birthday. The parade was under the command of Captain Keterer, of the 46th Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteers. The line was formed on East Penn square, with the Invalid Corps, Capt. Yates, stationed in this city, as escort. - Ringgold Band 46th Regt. Penna Volunteers - 3 Companies, 50th " " " - 3 " 88th " " " 3 " The 50th was under the command of Captains Geo. A. Yeager, H. A. Lautz and H.E. Cleaveland.
