51 be a retreat, as we are at 6 15 P.M., marching back over the Booling Green road. - Fifteen or twenty men, including five paroled prisoners, came up to the regiment. The movement which appeared early in the day to be a retreat has developed to be another flank move to the left. It is now 12 oclock midnight and a halt has just been ordered. Saturday May 28th 1864 Breakfasted at six oclock and marched at seven, in a south west direction - Took dinner at near the residence of the Rebel General Hill. Passed through a little town called Mangohick - about a mile from town passed a church.
